What do you do?

As an account manager, I am often the main point of contact for many of our clients. This means that a lot of my time is spent developing the professional relationships that are so integral to effective marketing and ensuring that strategies are communicated to our team. My role sees me fully engage with our clients and I work to determine how they reside in their sector. This is achieved through mystery shopping, competitor analysis and market positioning research that can then inform the next stage of their strategy.

Meeting new people and finding ways to help them is a truly rewarding part of the job, especially when those people become clients who we then work with for many years. Despite starting out as a Copywriter, my main focus now is on lead generation, marketing strategy and campaign development.

Have you done any speaking engagements?

Keen to expand our reputation, I frequently engage in networking events and do public speaking engagements.

These include:

  • The Charter Group Conference 2025
  • The Accounting Masterclass at the Belfry Hotel and Spa
  • The Accounting Masterclass at the British Motor Museum

Tell us a bit about yourself

Above all, my work is focused on delivering ROI to our clients while doing new and exciting projects that let me grow professionally and help our full-service marketing agency reach its full potential.

Having joined Imagine That, back when it was still called JE Consulting, as a Copywriter, I worked my way up through the company, first becoming a Senior Copywriter and then progressing to the Account Manager role I currently hold.

When I first started working here, I never had an intention to go into business development or account management. However, after three years, I have now made sales that directly benefit our business and contribute to its growth. I also have a portfolio of clients that I manage and whom I have helped grow their own businesses through our marketing strategies.

The feeling that you get when you make a sale is absolutely amazing, so I would say this is a major highlight of my time with the company. The first time I spoke publicly felt like a huge achievement, as it doesn’t come naturally to me. That’s a result of the mentorship I’ve been privileged to have at Imagine That.

In my role, I am lucky enough to be able to travel across the UK to meet clients and prospects. I’ve been as far north as Orkney and to many other amazing locations.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

I am currently renovating a 100-year-old house with my fiancée, so most of my weekends are spent as a DIY plumber, carpenter, electrician and handyman. When I get proper time off, I love travelling, playing golf (badly), painting and building miniatures, writing and gardening.
