What do you do?
As a Copywriter, I make sure that our clients have well-written articles and blogs as well as copy for other parts of their marketing like e-shots, websites and press releases.
Since joining Imagine That, I have had the opportunity to write for numerous law firms, care companies and accountancy firms. While I have loved all of it, the highlight has to be developing a familiarity with complicated systems and finding a way to make them more accessible. I work with a lot of our legal clients and the law is often confusing for those trying to work through the system. It brings me great joy to know that the work I am doing is connecting our clients with the people who will truly benefit from their support to live comfortable lives.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I began my professional career here at Imagine That, though it was still called JE Consulting when I started! After spending three years at Nottingham Trent University studying journalism and completing my NCTJ qualification, I wasn’t too sure what I wanted to do with myself. I returned to my summer job full-time while also doing freelance writing for local publications. After what felt like months of figuring it out, the team at Imagine That gave me the chance to put my writing skills to the test and I’ve loved every second of it so far.
I truly value kindness, gratitude and authenticity, so it is great to work among people who share those values and can let them shine in the work that we do.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
When I am not at work, you will often find me shopping, getting my nails done, doing my hair or in a coffee shop (if I can do all four in one day, even better!). Aside from that, I love going on walks, watching Clarkson’s Farm, reading a good book and, of course, scrolling on TikTok, as all Gen Zs do!
