What do you do?
As a Front-End Developer, I make sure that the websites we build and host for our clients operate reliably. I am experienced in User Interface (UI) development, ensuring that the people who are visiting websites can successfully make their way around without issue.
Much of the marketing we do has a digital component to it that requires ongoing development support. I format newswires and e-shots for many of our clients, allowing them to deliver quality insights straight to their audience. This involves a collaboration across multiple teams as I work with the writers and designers to make sure that everything is on brand and able to cut through the noise.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I began my professional career as a Front-end Web Developer when I joined Imagine That, formerly JE Consulting, back in 2010. Since then, I have developed extensive experience designing, building and maintaining responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPress. My responsibilities include developing new website features, creating landing pages, managing CMS content, building email campaigns and ensuring websites are accessible, responsive and optimised for performance.
I value integrity, teamwork and continuous improvement. I take pride in delivering quality work, communicating openly, supporting my colleagues and continually developing my skills to keep pace with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
The highlight of my work has been contributing to the growth and development of our digital presence over the years. I’ve enjoyed working on a wide range of website projects, collaborating with different teams and helping deliver accessible, user-friendly solutions that support both the organisation and its users.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and children, whether that’s going for evening or weekend walks, watching football and cricket, or relaxing with a good movie. I also enjoy listening to music and making the most of my free time with the people who matter most to me.
